Louise & Christian’s romantic barn wedding in Ilminster, Somerset, blended rustic country chic style with heartfelt Kiwi traditions. Golden hour photos, cowboy boots, and handwritten notes made their day one we had to share.
No two weddings are the same. What you think is essential will be an absolute no-go for another couple – and that’s okay. There is no right or wrong with weddings, just personal preference. Those closest to you will celebrate you and enjoy the day regardless, and it is far more important that you have fond memories to look back on for the rest of your life than anything else, so make sure you do what you want to do and not what you think others would prefer.
For us, the epitome of a good time was our sunset photographs. While our amazing photographer guided us in an adjacent field, an audience of our closest friends and family at the nearby fencing, cheering us on and messing around in the best way, with drinks in hand. It created a relaxed and memorable environment for us, which has led to some incredible results.
