We were lucky enough to have Olivia as our celebrant for our June wedding, and she was everything we hoped for and more. We first found her through her podcast — hilarious, warm, and clearly a brilliant storyteller — and knew straight away she was the right fit. Olivia performed our ceremony on 7th November and wow!!!! What a woman!!!! We had originally secured a registrar for our wedding as we had no idea what a celebrant was or that they even existed. However, Olivia popped up on my instagram feed & I just knew that we needed her at our wedding. We had an initial zoom call and immediately got on like a house on fire. She made us really laugh and we got all the good feels and knew we needed to book her - We never once considered anyone else. We met a few months before the wedding for a drink & it was as if we had known Olivia our whole life. She has such a warm, kind hearted soul - and she is absolutely hilarious!!! The thought of having to meet a registrar an hour before the ceremony, somebody I had never met before, would have filled me with dread and anxiety. What if they were awful ?! I didn’t have this worry at all with Olivia as I knew it would be her and my groom waiting at the end of the aisle. Olivia popped up about half hour before, gave me one of her lovely warm hugs & gave us all some laughs. I felt so instantly comfortable, relaxed and super excited for our ceremony- ready to savour every moment. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect - We have been together for 11 years and she completely got us and told our story so beautifully. It was a perfect mixture of sweetness, romance, sincerity and humour. I felt so relaxed and not nervous at all. I’m usually terrified at public speaking but felt so at ease when saying my vows - I truly believe this is because of Olivia and her calming presence. The topic of conversation during our drinks reception was how amazing and personal our ceremony was. Our guests had not been to a celebrant led wedding before and they all really enjoyed it and said how amazing and funny Olivia was- she had everybody laughing and crying in equal measure, which was just how we always imagined it to be. The ceremony is the most important part of a wedding day, but is always so easily dreaded or forgotten by guests and impersonal. People will remember and talk about our ceremony for years to come and that is all because of Olivia. We are so grateful to have found her and I will never stop recommending her.
