FAQS
Do you officiate LGBTQIA+ ceremonies?
Of course! Love is love is love!
What is a celebrant wedding ceremony?
It's an AWESOME way to get married. If a registrar is all about the law, and a church wedding is about god, this is the third way! It's a way of crafting a beautiful ceremony all about you and your love story, personalising it completely and making something totally unique
Are registrars and celebrants the same?
No they are not! Registrars do civil ceremonies that tend to be pretty generic (sorry not sorry). They are short, un-personalised, "insert couples name here" affairs that offer no flexibility. A celebrant lead wedding is something else entirely! It's ALL about you, the couple, your unique story. It can include basically anything you like - from ritual to readings to song to guest participation.
Can we do it anywhere?
Yes you can. On a mountaintop? In a garden? In a licensed venue? Yes! Legal ceremonies can only happen in licensed wedding venues, where as humanist ceremonies can happen anywhere you like (safety permitting, of course!)
