Is the farm licensed for ceremonies?
Yes, we have three stunning yet different reception barns and all are licensed for civil ceremonies. The Oak Barn is a magnificent high vaulted oak framed barn and The Byre is classically elegant with amazing views down the valley and across the wildlife pond and the Pole Barn is our large open fronted barn and offers a more rustic style.
Can I get married in Benenden's church?
It is a short walk to the beautiful St. George's Church in Benenden. We would be delighted to introduce you to the Rector to discuss your marriage.
Is the venue exclusively ours for our wedding?
Yes, The Oak Barn, Frame Farm is a series of stunning Grade II listed buildings that have undergone an extensive restoration that discreetly incorporates the benefits of a contemporary wedding venue into the historic charm of Kentish farm buildings. You and your guests will enjoy exclusive use of the farm for a day or weekend including all our stunning reception barns - The Oak Barn, The Byre, and the Pole Barn and the luxurious Weaver's Cottages as well as the courtyard, terraces and pond.
How many of my friends and family can I host?
We can comfortably host 135 guests for your Wedding Breakfast and about 200 for your evening reception.
Do you charge corkage?
We don't believe in corkage so no, we don't charge it and neither do any of our approved caterers.
