An unforgettable experience in the heart of Umbria, just beneath the Basilica of Saint Francis, which offers a breathtaking view both day and night, along with the surrounding hills that embrace the property.
The room was wonderful – rustic yet modern, equipped with every comfort.
The staff was professional and incredibly kind, always attentive to guests’ needs.
The only downside? Our stay was far too short!

A lovely, unique setting at the base of Assisi. I would recommend the Borgo highly if you want a quiet retreat or a base for touring the surrounding sights. We had a gorgeous view of the valley from our room and a view of St Francis basilica from the patio during breakfasts. Our room was tastefully furnished and spotless. The food was delicious and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our every needs. The Borgo makes several homeopathic products and sells their olive oil and other goods. The pool was a welcoming sight after a long hike up to the Eremo. I’d definitely stay there again!
