We looked around this venue shortly after getting engaged and it wasn’t open for business yet as it was still being created. We knew pretty much straight away it was perfect for us. Carla was friendly and informative from the get-go! Fast forward a few months and we got to see the completed venue and what a venue it is! Beautiful inside and out! The perfect combination of classic and modern. We knew we had made the right decision. Carla, Hayley and Rhys ensured everything was in hand for us until we left the day after we got married. The day ran smoothly and they were always on hand with anything we needed. We had the most perfect day and we really can’t thank you guys enough! We just want to thank you for making our wedding day amazing! From the first time we met with you to discuss prices and options to our wedding day, we were always confident that we had picked the best venue in Staffordshire to have our wedding. Salt House wedding venue is unlike anything we had visited in the area, from our first personalised tour in July 2021 when it was still being developed, we loved seeing it change and get better every time we visited, to our perfect day in June 2022. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with the venue, we have had so many compliments. It was lovely getting ready in the bridal suite with my bridesmaids and the groomsmen loved their own groom’s room. The children thoroughly enjoyed the playroom and it kept them entertained all day. The guests particularly loved the gardens to wander in during cocktail hour and the jungle themed bar. Our overnight guests loved the rooms with the luxury bathtubs! Special thanks to Carla and Hayley – Carla has been brilliant emailing back quickly throughout the planning process, answering any questions we had and had some great ideas and tips for the day. Hayley was our wedding coordinator on the day and she was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, she even helped us set up the day before. The day ran incredibly smoothly all thanks to Hayley. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to visit again in the future.

To the Team at Salt House Many thanks for being so welcoming and helpful on Friday when I came to Standon to photograph Zoe and David's wedding. It was my first time at the venue and I was blown away! I love everything about the venue, the "groom's room", kids' chill zone, & the amazing decor, you have thought of everything, that is every photographer's dream! The staff were all lovely and so helpful, Hayley took the time to show me around and offer me refreshments if needed even whilst she was busy and juggling everything going on. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing at the venue.

We got married in March 2022 at Salt House (previously) Standon Hall and we loved every single moment! From the very beginning Carla and the team were an absolute dream to work with, they were so attentive, always willing to go the extra mile and just the loveliest people! They made us feel so special and nothing was too much! The hall and the grounds were breathtaking! All of our guests thought it was the most magical place and we had the most perfect day, with the Standon Hall team there every step of the way! My husband and I could not be happier with the experience of working with Standon Hall and Carla in particular and would happily recommend them to any couples looking to have the most spectacular day!

Salt House (previously Standon Hall), what can I say!! We booked Standon Hall as our wedding venue in July 2021 for our big day in April 2022. Leaving only 9 months to plan our big day and with a venue that wasn’t quite finished or even open yet! We were kept up to date at all times and allowed to visit whenever we wanted to see the progress and this was a fantastic journey to be a part of! All of the staff at Standon were fabulous from start to finish and were so accommodating. One massive bonus is the venue is dog friendly so our dog was able to be part of my special day. Everyone who attended our wedding said how amazing the venue was and it was a real hit with our suppliers too! Everyone, us included, wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Standon Hall to anyone! Salt House was everything I could have dreamed for my wedding venue. It was the grand, stately home style that I wanted with that perfect modern twist. The staff were wonderful from start to finish, and the venue was breathtaking. The most stand-out parts of the venue for me (other than the obvious ones) were the groom's room, which allowed my husband to get ready at the venue, and the children’s playroom, which allowed our daughter and the rest of the child guests to stay entertained throughout the day. The overnight rooms are stunning and fully equipped with everything that you could need. I can’t thank the team enough and Joanne for arranging the most beautiful flower displays for us! We had a gorgeous wedding day at Salt Housel. The venue is so impressive and was the perfect choice for us. Felicity and Lea were amazing and were great keeping in touch with us but prior to this we did struggle to get in touch with the venue for a couple of months I presume before Felicity and Leah took over. Our day was perfect thank you so much!

Salt House is an absolutely stunning venue. A perfect match of traditional, local history, with quirky modern finishes. It was the perfect match for Dan and I. We moved into Salt House for the weekend of our wedding, Friday until Sunday, which enabled us the full wedding build-up and excitement. Felicity, Leah and Rhys were always on hand for the personal touches. The games room also really added a layer of excitement on the wedding eve. All of the bedrooms are stunning, breathtaking and simply unique; all finished to luxury standards. Standon Hall was simply the best venue for us! Thank you #teamSaltHouse
