Inspiration

Missing the sun? Us too! Take a walk on the wild side with us today as we share Aleigha & Mike’s incredible Marrakech desert elopement wedding! Yep, this couple tied the knot in the Agafay desert in Marrakech complete with all the usual desert activities including camel rides, a traditional Moroccan band, fire-blowing entertainment and so much more! It’s not every day you see a wedding as stunning as this. So let’s stop the chit-chat and get into it…

A desert elopement in Marrakech with camel rides, fire-breathing entertainment and a lantern ceremony

It was just the two of us in the most stunning setting. We planned adventurous outings to the Medina and a road trip to see the sights of Marrakech. We turned our elopement into one big Marrakech experience. From sand buggy rides and camel rides to sharing romantic vows in our intimate elopement ceremony, it was perfect.

Marrakech Desert Elopement

Aleigha & Mike wanted a boho wedding, so the couple used dried flowers in neutral and golden tones with pops of orange and blue. The day was chic and relaxed, full of authentic Moroccan experiences from the cuisine to the entertainment and decor. Aleigha & Mike’s boho wedding encompassed the culture, vibrancy and atmosphere of Morocco for their weekend-long Marrakech desert elopement. The couple's attention to detail is evident in the beautiful boho decor and beautifully written personalised wedding vows. Their intimate boho wedding ceremony in the desert was intimate and serene but the whole wedding weekend in Marrakech was memorable and adventurous with a Moroccan band, exciting camel rides, acrobatic entertainment and romantic candlelit dinners. We’ve just never seen anything so incredible!

I’ll never desert you! Get it? Okay, we’ll stop now…

Our advice would be to use a wedding planner if you are having a destination wedding. We worked with La Perle Events and they were amazing at booking and planning our wedding weekend!
