Inspiration

If you're trying to think of fun ways to serve food at your reception, buffet wedding food is a great shout! It's a more casual way to dine, but that doesn't mean it can't look epic. Carolina and Yago's rustic chic wedding in Barcelona is proof that buffet wedding food can be unique, on-trend and elegant. Complete with grazing tables, cheese boards and a whole table just for bread (!) there really was something for everyone.

Instagram food blogger Carolina Ferrer planned the entirety of her fun-filled wedding at their home in Delta del Ebro - seriously, we're so jealous we weren't there, it looked like so much fun! As well as hosting and planning the whole day, Carolina also styled her own hair and makeup, designed their wedding stationery, and as you can see she looked after their gorgeous little one throughout. Is there anything she can't do?

Carolina and Yago had an incredible range of creative buffet wedding food!

When we had lunch, even before the first course was served, music started to play so loud that some people even started to dance on the chairs! My father was one of them, I can't remember a happier moment in my life!!!

We organised every single detail of our wedding. The fact we were organising it in our home country made it even more special, between the olive trees that have watched me grow since I was a little girl... The guests made the venue even more special, the energy we had that day made the event one of the best ever for our guests! It was a boho chic style wedding.

We wanted the wedding to look happy but still elegant, loads of flowers and colours everywhere, everybody looked so pretty! For those planning their wedding, simply try to be yourselves; don't try to look like someone else or copy another wedding. Inspiration is fantastic, but if you put your soul into it, your guests will appreciate it and the energy will be unique!
