Charlotte wore an Emmy Mae Bridal gown for her wedding to Stuart at the stunning Recommended venue, Cripps Barn. This wedding is so chic and classy with fun nods of colour, glamour, and heritage. Charlotte is half Filipino and wanted to ensure she included her culture. Especially as many of her family members in the Philippines couldn’t be there for the special day. Charlotte & Stuart also chose Recommended supplier, Papier, for their invitations, menus and order of service cards and Recommended supplier, Emma Kim Hair, too!

One thing that so many people said stood out (and we agree) was the music and the music choices. We had our friends play the piano and pick songs that meant so much to us. Stu is a musician and music was top of the list to tell our story. We also wrote our own vows and had quite a lot of speeches, too!

Charlotte wore an elegant fitted dress from Emmy Mae Bridal with incredible sleeves! Stuart was also stylish in his brown suit and iconic mustard socks. Not only did the bride and groom look incredible but so did the bridesmaids in the chicest white bridesmaid dresses. The overall vibe of the day was relaxed. The couple didn't want anything to feel cookie-cutter-esque, so it was important to put in their own touches and have a good ol' party! Cripps Barn is elegant but also has a bit of a rustic edge, which is what the couple were looking for in terms of styling.
Wedding Traditions
To ensure her culture and heritage were present on the day, Charlotte & Stuart had the table numbers in Tagalog. To keep in with tradition, both Charlotte's parents walked her down the aisle and when Stuart greeted them they gave him the 'blessing' gesture by putting the back of their hand on his head. The couple also broke some traditions with a mixed bridal party. Charlotte called her party ‘Bridesbabes’, which is a catchphrase we might have to steal! Charlotte really wanted to give a speech and so did her sister, who is super close to the couple.
