Inspiration

This quite aptly titled 'under a floral spell' fairytale wedding inspiration, with its romantic blush and burgundy colour scheme, dreamy tablescape, and beautiful floral arch is nothing short of spectacular. Instantly transporting you into a place of love and wonderment. And instantly filling your hearts and Pinterest board with amazing ideas.

VISION

Beautifully classic and ethereal wedding inspiration with a twist.

UNDER A FLORAL SPELL

Starting with colour, we chose romantic blush as the foundation of our colour palette. Added burgundy, rouge and gold. Using carefully placed candles and a focal-point floral archway made up of Hanoi ranunculus, dark berry roses, pale pink hydrangeas and aromatic eucalyptus, we created a sense of entering an enchanted garden, something that truly evoked a fairytale setting. Inspired by the incredible high windows and decorative ceiling at Grittleton House, the tablescape featured a mixture of floral displays and structures. The glamorous high pedestals created a floral canopy and encouraged you to look up to the ceiling architecture, while Joanna interspersed low gold glass rose bowls and votives to ensure there were pops of colour at eye level and a wonderful aroma for the guests. - Stylist/Planner: Jennifer Louise Weddings

Fairytale Wedding

We're all guilty of dreaming of 'happily ever after's,' grand gestures and love. And for most, this fairytale wedding inspiration comes fairly close to portraying those ideals. I mean what's not to love. Immense regal gown, check. Historic setting, check. And flowers as far as the eye can see. Wonderfully planned and styled by Jennifer Louise Weddings and beautifully captured by Katherine Yiannaki Photography.

STYLING & DETAILS

To create a fairytale and enchanted look, it was important to build layers of colour and texture that worked together with no element or shade standing out. Luxurious touches such as the gold-rimmed glasses from Duchess and Butler and soft grey tablecloth from Just4Linens complimented the rouge and burgundies to further enhance our ethereal setting. To complete the dream-like theme, stationery featuring calligraphy and flowers of the wedding from Rebecca Richards Design perfectly finished the tablescape. Lindsay’s beautiful four-tier cake featured mixed height tiers, with traditional ivory icing, a luxurious gold band and the middle tier iced in marble dove grey as a contemporary twist. - Stylist/Planner: Jennifer Louise Weddings
