Faux Fur Stole

Faux Fur Stole For Winter Wedding

Photography by Emma Lawson Photography

If you’re looking for a winter wonderland complete with a faux fur stole, stunning Scottish backdrops, and Persian wedding traditions, then look no further. Leilla & Daniel were married on a stunning day with plenty of help from talented people they knew. From their friend George playing the bagpipes, to bridesmaid Leanne making their wedding cake, to Leilla’s brother providing the videography! Daniel’s morning was spent with his groomsmen clay pigeon shooting. Followed by a rather quick sprint to the church after quickly ironing shirts. Whereas Leilla had a relaxing morning with her bridesmaids, getting ready and sipping champagne. Of course, everything is perfectly captured by Recommended Supplier, Emma Lawson Photography.

SOFREH AGHD

In honour of her Iranian heritage, Daniel & Leilla incorporated Persian wedding traditions within their day, including the Sofreh Aghd. This is a table spread with symbolic items representing blessings for the couple's married life together. Also a Persian knife dance, prior to the cake cutting. Of course, they had fantastic participation from bridesmaids and willing guests!

FAVOURITE MOMENT

During the ceremony, Daniel & Leilla were so excited to see each other in the church! The minister asked them to turn around and look at the congregation beaming back at the gorgeous couple. It was a real “pinch me” moment after the trials of getting to the day due to Covid restrictions. Alongside this and the confetti moment, they found so much joy in seeing all their loved ones there to celebrate with them!
