Inspiration

I've seen many a festival wedding here on RMW, but none as dedicated to the cause as this one. Nick and Ben transformed their home into an event site, complete with stretch tents, bars and live bands, DJs and entertainment for children! It looked absolutely incredible and I can't think of a more fitting way to celebrate your marriage than with a mini festival just for your family and friends. Look out for all of the fabulous decor details, such as the Prosecco piano and the beautiful floral installation in front of the stage...

The Ceremony

Kerry The Wedding Planner: Nick and Ben were torn between having a formal wedding and a festival style wedding so decided to combine both! The ceremony was held at the fabulous Fawsley Hall Hotel. The weather was on our side and we were able to setup the outdoor ceremony they'd dreamed of in the gorgeous courtyard. A beautiful flower meadow by Ronny Colbie lined the aisle for them to walk down. Guests then made their way to a champagne reception looking over the beautiful ground of Fawsley where the couple also cut the delicious cake by Princess Patisserie.

Festival Wedding

Guests ditched the formal attire in favour of retro festival t-shirts and wellies as they moved onto the Wedstival. This was held at the couple’s house where the party really got started! Upon arrival, each guest was given an entry wristband and lanyard with the events running order. Freestretch set out four stretch tents to provide different areas. Furnished with rustic tables, chairs, sofas and even a prosecco piano from Wedhead, a laid back vibe was created.

The Food & Drink

A luxury BBQ of fillet beef and monkfish by Ross and Ross Foods awaited the guests as well as copious amounts of signature cocktails, served by The Travelling Pub, a unique horsebox with walk-in bar inside and an outdoor canopy for a larger bar along the side. Florals from the ceremony were utilised again, lining the foot of the bar, and various stretch tents to add an array of colour.

Live Bands, DJs And Entertainment For Children

Four different bands and a DJ did a fantastic job of entertaining guests...as with any festival, dancing was mandatory! The Little Top did an amazing job at keeping the children busy with a whole host of fun games, a silent disco, glitter face painting and later in the evening they all snuggled down to watch a film with a hot chocolate, while the adults partied on into the small hours!
