Aimee and Gordon gathered all their loved ones at Foxhill Manor for an intimate, heartfelt wedding weekend. With family heritage in both Scotland and New Zealand, and a passion for meaningful details, they enlisted the help of Valentina from The Stars Inside to bring their vision to life. Valentina created a wedding full of florals, foliage, cakes, whisky and barrels. It is honestly nothing short of breathtaking. Intimate Foxhill Manor wedding with pink TH&TH bridesmaid dresses
Our wedding planner, Valentina from 'The Stars Inside' was incredible in helping source many of our suppliers. I had spent months researching local suppliers, along with those that aligned with our style and values, and was feeling quite overwhelmed. Val was able to recommend our incredible florist, vegan cake maker and decor providers who really helped pull together the details that were so important to us. In the lead up to our wedding, Val coordinated all our suppliers and helped with finalising those all-important checklists which was such a welcome relief.
Foxhill Manor
By having exclusive use of Foxhill Manor we were able to add personal details to our venue that were meaningful to us to make Foxhill feel like an extension of our home. We had our family member's pictures on a table as soon as you walked in, cornhole on the lawn and a vegan ice cream tuk-tuk, We also had whiskey barrels topped with flowers around the property and our favourite Blackberry Farm candles lit throughout, as well as festoon lights to dance under. These personal touches helped make our guests feel welcome and ready to celebrate with us.
Southern Charm
Gordon and I visited Blackberry Farm in Tennessee back in 2018 and instantly fell in love with the Southern charm. The resort had such incredible attention to detail at every turn. Whiskey barrels, Bourbon (Gordon's favourite tipple, an abundance of flowers, incredible decor and candles everywhere. All of the decor and details gave it a real Southern home-away-from-home feel. We wanted to recreate that same feeling in the Cotswolds, one of our most loved places in the UK. It was the perfect location for a weekend celebrating with our closest friends and family.
Aimee and Gordon worked with their stationers to design a thistle monogram based on Aimee's engagement ring and Gordon's heritage.
When we began planning our wedding the one thing we kept coming back to was making sure we created a weekend that was meaningful to us. To not feel the need to follow traditions that didn't align with our values. We didn't want the pressure of creating the perfect day to overshadow our opportunity to celebrate with family and friends. Focus on what is important to you as a couple, don't compromise! Take time throughout the day to take a minute just the two of you and enjoy the quiet moments. Oh, and hire a wedding planner!
We can't get over how timeless and stylish Aimee and Gordon's wedding at Foxhill Manor is. An absolute testament to, wedding planner and stylist Valentina from The Stars Inside, and Aimme and Gordon for their Southern Tennessee vision. Aimee's Suzanne Neville gown in particular is giving us princess vibes, and we love the dusky pink shade of the bridesmaid dresses.
