Jessica & James

Hazel Gap Barn Wedding Venue

The reason the couple chose Hazel Gap Barn is that they loved the social element of their feasting-style food, along with their beautiful interiors. Jessica and James opted for an elegant black-tie wedding and this was certainly doable with a venue like Hazel Gap Barn! The flowers were dusky pink, cream and gentle orange tones, which added softness and romance to the overall look. The bride's favourite moment was standing at the top of the aisle before walking down and hearing the music they chose and the buzz of the room. It was a moment she thought about every night before bed for 2 years and it was finally coming true. A truly magical moment!

Autumnal Styling

Jessica and James really wanted their love of neutrals and textures mirrored around the Hazel Gap Barn venue. Over the years, the couple liked the gorgeous classic style but wanted to play around with that and do something a little different, like having multiple tones rather than one feature colour. They had cosy details to incorporate into the winter wedding including lots of candles and a s'mores table with firepits in the evening. Sass Weddings beautifully styled Hazel Gap Barn with an autumnal feel with burnt orange, dark green, and mustard yellow colour palette.

Green Velvet Bridesmaid Jumpsuits

The couple decorated Hazel Gap Barn with soft neutral muted tones and dark accents, like the green velvet bridesmaid dresses. Jessica and James wanted a modern, rustic, relaxed, yet curated feel to their day. Jessica looked incredible in her Suzanne Neville dress and Charlotte Mills shoes making her look so effortlessly stylish on the day! The velvet bridesmaid jumpsuits matched the groom's and groomsmen's velvet suit jackets. Elegance is an understatement.

Having our two sons at our wedding was just wonderful. We were initially worried about the logistics of having two young children there, but having them in photos and being a part of our day was something truly special. We did have a nanny there to make sure they were looked after at all times, while also having lots of fun.
