We all need a little glamour in our lives, so today we're sharing the elegant black-tie winter wedding of Pheobe and Mark at The Kedleston Country House in Derbyshire. They filled the exclusive use venue with white and green flowers, copper details and wooden signs. Light flooded through the modular skylight in the atrium where they hosted their ceremony, then everyone took their seats at the cosy panelled reception for a vegan-only wedding breakfast. It sounds incredible. And it looks even more so.
What Made Your Day Unique
We are a vegan couple, so everything at our wedding was vegan. From our shoes to the main wedding breakfast and evening food. All of our guests said the food was the best wedding food they have ever had. So we definitely happily surprised our guests. The cake was also vegan and to die for! I think for the budget we had, we outdid ourselves. It definitely wasn’t your average wedding!
Black Tie Winter Wedding
Phoebe and Mark's three favourite suppliers were their florist, Avant Garden Weddings, their photographer Sophie May, and their saxophonist Andrew Chisholm. Each one was so professional and went above and beyond to ensure their black tie winter wedding was everything they dreamed it would be. The styling is beautiful, the atmosphere heartfelt and warm, and the captures say it all.
Inspiration & Styling
We wanted a very chilled vibe. Definitely not too traditional. Everyone was very relaxed and mixed really well, many people commented that they could feel the rooms were filled with love. The style was black-tie boho/glam, I think!? I didn’t stick to one style, just picked what I loved and what complemented each other.
Walk around in your dress for long enough to make sure you are comfortable, and buy a second pair of shoes for dancing!
