Classic wedding vibes? Check. Jesus Peiro dress? Check. Totally stunning day that looks like something straight out of a movie? CHECK. Johannah & Ryan finally said their I-do’s after two postponements, and we are so glad they did! Their gorgeous wedding consisted of modern classic styling, complete with green florals and touches of pale pink throughout. Oh, and how beautiful does Elmore Court look? Walking out of the house, down the aisle, seeing family and friends was far more emotional than I’d expected. The lead up in morning with my bridesmaids was really special, all fuelled by the anticipation of the day.
SUPPLIERS
We both grew up and live in London, so initially thought we’d have a city wedding. I spent a lot of time on CocoVenues and came across Elmore Court. I loved the idea of a place where lots of our guests could stay and keep the party going till the early hours. Elmore Court were great advising on suppliers, but we also found our photographer, hair and makeup artist on Rock My Wedding (which I was also hooked on for styling inspiration!)
VIBE
The dress code was black tie optional. The groom and wedding party all wore tuxedos (any excuse to dress up!) We went with modern classic styling; monochrome calligraphy stationary, white and green florals, with touches of pale pinks dotted throughout. After two postponements, there was so much anticipation, which made it all so special after waiting so long. It was the first time seeing extended family after almost two years...we were so ready for a big party and to all celebrate together!

I went to a lot of wedding dress shops before making my decision (partly because I enjoyed the experience so much). For the evening, I decided on a separate dress, and I’m so pleased I did! I felt super glam coming out in my second outfit - (though possibly outdone by my husband in the shoe department with his gold heeled louboutins!)
