La Baronia Black-Tie Wedding

Daisy & James… now, where to begin. The gorgeous venue that is La Baronia? The first look moment? The stunning outdoor ceremony? There are just too many incredible aspects to choose from! Daisy wanted an enchanted fairy tale vibe, complete with a castle covered in lush greenery, just like you see in storybooks. Their outdoor reception looks chic and clean; white linen tablecloths, pastel floral bouquets, and strings of festoon lighting hanging above. We’re also seriously loving the personalised fans with their faces, inspired by drag show brunches in Miami and NYC!

Our destination wedding in Barcelona took place in the middle of the pandemic. We pushed it out a year thinking Covid would be ‘better’, or better yet, be ‘gone’, but it ended up being during the Delta outbreak. There were many uncertainties and regulations we had to follow so I was full of anxiety. It still feels like a surreal dream that it came together! All our loved ones flew in from North America to celebrate us in a Spanish castle.

LA BARONIA

Daisy & James made their way from New York City to Barcelona for their wedding day. Marrying at La Baronia, an old farmhouse of Can Bosch (s.XVII), a superb Art Nouveau style building, designed by an architect disciple of Gaudí. The stunning setting looks just as beautiful from the outside as it does in! We absolutely love the minimalistic styling and neutral colour scheme. A perfect look alongside the rustic architecture that is La Baronia.

A first look is a perfect opportunity to share a moment with just you and your partner.

I sourced all vendors on Instagram as I had to let go of my original planner. I ended up using Instagram and Google translate! We got lucky with such wonderful suppliers who really came through for us.
