Inspiration

Art Nouveau wedding? Oh, go on then. An international style of art, this specific look is characterised by its organic lines and natural forms. This stunning inspiration brings the outdoors, in. Through installations of sea lavender spilling from the window, to unique and seasonal flowers, emphasising natural lines often found in Mucha’s artwork. We absolutely love the pops colour throughout, that work perfectly against the clean styling of the models. Seriously though, that crown? Erm, yes please. Captured beautifully by Recommended Supplier, Kernwell Photography.

Art Nouveau wedding inspiration complete with unique and seasonal flowers

Inspired by Alphonse Mucha’s artwork, we explore nature, flowing lines and colour to create an Art Nouveau styled wedding shoot.

VENUE

RSA House was the perfect venue to bring our vision to life. With its graceful architecture, marble floors and sweeping staircases. We used three main spaces – the incredible main staircase, the chic Benjamin Franklin Room, and the elegant Tavern Room. They all feature large, beautiful windows allowing soft, natural daylight to flood in. Ideal for Michelle & Phil of Kernwell Photography to shoot in their joyful fine art style

TABLESCAPE

Monica of Dandelion Celebrations created a still-life tablescape featuring pink and orange florals and fruit from Salad Studios, offset with gold cutlery and dark navy linen. Luxe embroidered velvet ribbon place settings from the Embroidered Napkin Company added softness while doubling as lovely favours for guests. Ghost chairs from Gaia Linen and Furniture brought a modern touch without overpowering the design.

STYLING

Cynthia Grafton-Holt created two incredible looks for the day. The first, a silk bridal coat with an elegant slit crepe skirt, brought movement and flow. The second paired the crepe skirt with a halter top featuring a daring slit and gorgeous tie. Janie of Lucky Sixpence created an intricate, bespoke headpiece, as well as stunning earrings. Both our bride Brontë and groom Lewis wore elegant and earthy jewellery by Niza Huang.

We just love a clean venue space against beautiful pops of colour within decor and styling.

Grania of Ink & Paper created a bespoke, luxury letterpress invitation suite evoking iconic features of art nouveau architecture. Rica of Alchemy of Sugar made a vibrant dessert table with a multi-tier orange and gold cake, cakesicles and cookies.
