I think we can all agree, Syon Park may be one of the most incredible wedding venues. Well, just add in a beautiful couple, lavender bridesmaid dresses and our Recommended Supplier, Michael Maurer, and you’ve got it all! Rishana & Yoshan said their I-do’s during an elegant and understated styled day. With table centrepieces featuring candelabras, bud vases, large trumpet vases, and trailing flowers throughout in pastel-perfect colours. Their day also included DIY projects, such as the tables, which were named after places they had visited together as a couple! Oh, and the bride happened to perform an acapella set with her university friends after signing the register - Aca ‘Scuse Me?! Also, don’t miss the incredible live portrait painting - we are obsessed!

Michael Maurer was such a professional photographer who made us feel so relaxed and comfortable from the word go. He has such a lovely aura! Bringing out the best in his clients and an eye for detail. He captured wonderful moments and was a pro at styling my dress for photos!

With the beautiful pastel colour scheme, Rishana knew that lavender bridesmaid dresses were the only way forward! It’s also the perfect example of allowing your girls to find a style that suits them! ADVICE
Rishana & Yoshan found it very enlightening and helpful to see photographers’ websites and portfolios. This allowed them to see how others had styled and planned their big day. As Michael Maurer is a pro at working Syon House, they were able to see options as to how the day would flow and how others used the space. And of course, Pinterest and Instagram! This naturally led them to see other similar decors, styling and colour palettes.

We didn't want contrived, uniform decor or table settings - the decor, place cards, and favours were all handmade DIY which was a special understated touch allowing us to put our own stamp on things.
