Charlotte & Matthew had a classic wedding at Recommended venue, Middleton Lodge Estate. In our book, a Middleton Lodge Estate wedding is always going to be a hit! The venue oozes style and has a gorgeous South of France vibe whilst being in the UK. This couple chose a traditional outdoor ceremony with classic styling from the white florals to the white bridesmaid dresses. So chic!

Here are our two biggest pieces of advice. Firstly, with the guest list make sure that every person on the list is someone that you would want to go for dinner and drinks with! These should be your favourite people that will add to the celebration, not leaving you missing out on all the good stuff while ensuring people you don’t know are okay! And secondly, don’t sweat the small stuff! No one will remember the small details, so ensure you are present and don’t worry! It will be the best day with your loved ones!
Middleton Lodge Estate Wedding
Charlotte & Matthew knew they wanted something a little bit different from the wedding they had been to before. From Pinterest, Charlotte had gathered some inspiration on outdoor wedding ceremonies with a relaxed and romantic vibe (which, isn't always possible in the UK). When they found Middleton Lodge, they knew a Middleton Lodge Estate wedding was on the cards. With that stunning English garden vibe, the venue became the centre point for everything. The supplier that stole the show for the couple was...Middleton Lodge Estate! There are no surprises there. Charlotte & Matthew couldn't wait to show off the venue on the day!
Applique Wedding Dress
Charlotte found her applique wedding dress by Alexandra Grecco from a stunning wedding dress boutique. She really treasures the memories of trying on wedding dresses with her mum and finding the one! The morning of the wedding, getting ready with her mum, mother-in-law, and bridal party, was Charlotte's favourite part of the day. Her dad coming in just before heading down the aisle to see Matthew was so special, too! As Charlotte & Matthew's wedding was rescheduled due to covid, the day was full of love and support that celebrated their wedding and life in general. The day just felt that bit extra special to realise what was important.
The detail on Charlotte’s applique wedding dress and veil is stunning!
We were so lucky that we are surrounded by so many talented people. The maid of honour designed our stationary alongside the bride, the mother of the groom’s friend did our flowers, and the band's lead singer was a friend of the groom! We even found our singer busking in Borough Market and fell in love, so we did a bit of Facebook exploring to find her! For hair and makeup, Charlotte used Instagram to find suppliers who had worked at the venue before as she knew they would be happy to travel!
