New Year’s Eve Wedding at Thornbridge Hall Derbyshire with Bridesmaids in Gold Sequin Dresses

Hats off to Noor and Alex for choosing to have a New Year’s Eve wedding, and hat’s off for making it a party to remember! They had a Dabka File before the wedding breakfast even commence and treated guests to an epic fireworks display at midnight. And whilst all this merriment was going on you can see by their abundant smiles they are enjoying. Every. Minute. As will you.

WEDDING CELEBRATIONS

“We mixed Palestinian culture with Northern soul to create a new experience for all involved! The Zaffa and Dabka created a fantastic atmosphere with dancing all around, introducing many of our guests to a Palestinian party for the first time. The soulful jazz band during dinner and saxophone and electric violin combination really added some sparkle to the party and kept the dancing going. A firework display was a fitting, explosive end to our NYE wedding. “ – Noor & Alex

New Year’s Eve Wedding

If you’re planning a New Year’s Eve wedding let me tell you, you’re in for a blast. Guests are already giddy with excitement at the prospect of seeing you get married, plus there’s the added anticipation of the New Year celebrations. Noor & Alex carefully considered each element of the day leading up to the Midnight with a spectacular fireworks display. We can’t think of a better way to enter the new year as newlyweds than with a bang.

WEDDING INSPIRATION

“We wanted an action-packed party full of dancing and fun to enter the New Year whilst still having a classy black-tie backing to celebrate our wedding. The stylist inspiration came from Noor’s idea of a winter black-tie event, with open wooden fires, candles and twinkles to catch the eye. The Zaffa and Dabka really were a fantastic way to get the party going. We haven’t been to a wedding before that started with dancing before the wedding breakfast. It helped everyone to relax and gave a spectacular talking point over dinner. It was, without a doubt, the best way to kick the party off.” – Noor & Alex

The decision to have a black-tie dress code for this New Year’s Eve wedding is genius, with the wedding party leading by example in stunning Tuxedos and Sequin and lace frocks. Sparkle seems to be a popular choice amongst our Winter and Christmas weddings which you can see more of in our real wedding archives.
