Inspiration

Sophie & Adam had two and a half years to plan their magical day. We're so glad they had all that time because their day turned out to be just gorgeous! Sophie's Phillipa Lepley wedding dress with a sheer balloon sleeve overlay is so pretty. Her look was completed with shoes from Recommened supplier, Rainbow Club. Recommended supplier, Steph Newton Photography captured the special day and the couple also had Recommended supplier, The Wedding Shop, for their gift list.

We chose our suppliers from Rock My Wedding and other supplier recommendations. Being one of the first of our friends to marry meant we really didn’t know where to start with supplier recommendations, but we found Rock My Wedding's inspiration and supplier directory invaluable. The podcast is really useful for planning advice and also using “Wedmin Wednesday” helped us really nail all the admin.

Sophie & Adam

Sophie really made her Phillipa Lepley wedding dress her own with a sheer overlay. All of Sophie & Adam's suppliers were absolutely amazing and completely exceeded their expectations but the couple wanted to give their florist, Recommended supplier Made by Amelia Florence, a special mention for all the beautiful displays. The couple had a few readings during their day including Union by Robert Fulghum and had their first dance to an acoustic version of 'Latch' by Sam Smith.

The vibe of the day was relaxed and romantic English countryside. Sprivers Mansion captured everything the couple wanted in their day. The couple wanted to encompass everything they love about where they live. The florist used as many locally grown flowers as possible and of course the Kentish hops! The food was also locally sourced and the couple enjoyed some bubbles from the local vineyard. Sophie & Adam went with their gut on so many details that all came together beautifully on the day. Just look at these gorgeous pictures!

Personal Touches

Sophie & Adam had two and a half years to plan the day and really made the most of putting personal touches into every element. From the handmade wedding favours (containing lavender from Sophie's parent's garden) to the menu which the couple chose based on happy childhood memories of holidays and foraging for ripe tomatoes in grandparents' greenhouses. The couple loved that so many details of the day were sentimental and personal to them and their families. Plus, their gorgeous cake was created by Recommended supplier, The Little Cake Company. All of the pretty stationery was also completed by Recommended supplier, Rose & Beau

The pastel colour palette and Phillipa Lepley wedding dress complete the classic English countryside vibes!

Our favourite moment of the day was walking out of the church as newly proclaimed husband and wife. Walking past all our loved ones beaming back at us, the organ playing, and church bells ringing. We knew we had such a special, fun day planned and a whole lifetime of love. The start of our next chapter!
