We've fallen for a beautiful dress or two in our time (okay, fine, we have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to them...) but this Rime Arodaky wedding dress has got us falling in love all over again. Paired with flawless makeup and a gorgeous wedding updo both from Recommended supplier Amazing Face Dorset, Hélène was a vision of elegance and grace! Fan of boho decor? Look no further. The wedding reception was like stepping into a boho wedding dreamland filled with pampas grass, fairy lights and beautiful drapery. If you needed more food for your rustic soul then just feast upon the magical shots of Hélène and Gareth kissing under a canopy full of fairy lights! We looked at a lot of suppliers through Instagram and then used Rock My Wedding to vet them and read what was written about them. It was helpful to see if they were Recommended or not! For us, it was important to be able to get along with the suppliers and be able to fully trust them.
VIBE OF THE DAY
The brief was boho chic, and Hélène and Gareth's stylist pretty much hit the nail on the head. Hélène's Pinterest board was brought to life with relaxed rustic vibes with a touch of glam, and some pretty incredible florals! They had the best of both worlds with dried and fresh flowers, and gorgeous burnt orange table runners that brought a real warmth to the day. Her chic Rime Arodaky wedding dress with a lacy touch of boho was also bang on theme! Finally, they chose Recommended gift list Prezola for their guests to tie in with the relaxed vibe.
RIME ARODAKY WEDDING DRESS
So as we mentioned, we love wedding dresses. Like, a lot. But what we also love is a great wedding dress story! Hélène found her Rime Arodaky wedding dress in the same London boutique that her sister had bought her dress a few years before. Going to the fittings with her when she got married, Hélène thought to herself she wanted to go there the day she got married. Her sister also had a Rime Arodaky wedding dress, so she knew she already loved the style! Long story short... she went. She saw. She bought. And she looked damn incredible.
Table runners are a great way to bring your wedding breakfast decor to life. Pair with some dried flowers and voila! Boho heaven.
Our favourite moment of the day was the speeches. Hearing what your friends and family have to say about you as a couple was so heart warming and beautiful. As a bride, it's not typical to do a speech. But I was adamant on doing one and I'm so glad I did. It gave me an opportunity to tell Gareth how I felt about him in front of everyone that I love!
Bridal speech? Fairy light canopy? Rime Arodaky wedding dress?...What didn't Hélène and Gareth have!? (An invite for us. We're not bitter, honest...). But invite or not, their wedding was captured so beautifully that we can all relive their day over and over again.
