Uhm, ok India, we see you in your short gold wedding dress, and we APPROVE. Captured by the incredible Recommended Supplier Emma at Epic Love Story, this beautiful couple decided to elope. Originally planning their day in NYC, due to uncertainty, they made the decision to marry in London. Choosing the Asylum Chapel for their ceremony, they also hired a vintage Mustang! In all seriousness, India & Chris look like they’ve stepped right out of a photoshoot… is this day giving you serious editorial vibes or what!? Incredible!
Short gold wedding dress for elopement
If you’re not certain that a big wedding is your thing, do consider an elopement! We had the best day together and didn’t have to worry about all the finer details for guests. Also, don’t buy your dress too early - I changed my mind twice!
SUPPLIERS
Emma, our photographer, was recommended by a friend who was a guest at another wedding she had shot. As soon as we saw her photos we knew Emma was the one! The venue was really last minute as we had to rearrange with only a few weeks to go due to Covid, but we chose the Asylum Chapel as it’s so unique and felt perfect for an elopement.
THE DAY
Getting to spend the whole day with just one another - the whole day felt so relaxed and chilled. We have a great relationship with our photographer too so it just felt like hanging out with a friend for the day! The vibe was relaxed, modern, cool. The venue needed very little styling as it is so stunning but we did add some gold disco balls to compliment my dress!
You know we love a short gown… and in gold!? Yes please.
Our favourite moments were hearing each other’s vows for the first time and shooting portraits in a multi-storey car park! We had loads of fun with it and couldn’t be happier with the photos Emma captured.
