Inspiration

Hannah and Scott's wedding at The Barns at Lodge Farm was a beautifully rustic day. The bride wore a stunning Madi Lane wedding dress and had a stylish sage green theme throughout their whole day, from the bridesmaid dresses to the table decor. We didn't think this day could get any better but when you hear that it was captured by Recommended photographer, Charlotte Wotton Photography, you know it becomes utter perfection. Despite getting a weather warning for gale-force winds, this couple made sure their day was special and had all the relaxed vibes they wanted.

We chose suppliers that had good reviews and attractive prices. The budget meant we were keen to keep prices down. We actually can’t thank Charlotte, our photographer, enough for doing a fantastic job of capturing our special day. She managed to get the best images while battling to stand with the crazy wind on the day.

The Barns at Lodge Farm

Hannah and Scott went for a rustic romantic feel, with lots of greenery for their wedding. The Barns at Lodge Farm has so much charm, the couple didn’t have to include too much decor. The farm accommodates a rural and industrial feel. We can't deny it looks absolutely spectacular in the pictures! The ceremony barn is a rustic barn open to the elements, which added to the whole relaxed outdoor atmosphere of their wedding day!

Sage Green Theme

Their wedding colour theme was a gorgeous sage green. The couple ensured the colour was all over The Barns at Lodge Farm venue, from the florals, bridesmaid dresses, ties, table plans and decor. Hannah and Scott made their own Canapés- sausage rolls (yummy!) and decorated all the tables with sage green runners and rum-themed table names. Their wedding breakfast took place on long banquet tables, which really added to the rustic and romantic vibe. The wedding felt like a family affair with all their nearest and dearest helping them set up for the big day.

Sage green is the hottest colour for weddings right now! We love it!

Despite having a yellow weather warning for gale-force winds on our wedding day, we didn’t let it ruin it. The vibe of the day was super chilled with lots of fun moments with all the guests at The Barns at Lodge Farm.
Our advice to others would be to enjoy every moment because it goes so fast. Take time out on the day just the two of you to have a debrief and appreciate what an amazing day you have put together.
