Inspiration

It's giving us autumn, it's giving us rustic and it's giving us the urge to have a quick look at The Tythe Barn calendar for their availability... Oh yes, Evenny & Jack's November wedding at this Recommended venue was truly a sight to behold! Complete with a fairy light canopy, an impressive bridal bouquet and one gorgeous lace gown, it's simply bursting with inspiration. If you're not convinced yet, just wait until you see the wedding breakfast shots... Once we saw people dancing in chefs hats twirling towels above their heads, we not only knew what the entertainment would be for our next birthday party, but that this was a wedding we just had to share!

Rustic autumnal wedding at The Tythe Barn, Launton

Our day was made unique due to our incredible suppliers. We feel so lucky to have picked the best group of people to help with our big day! Despite us having no clue on wedding planning. We spent a large part of the day outside, which we never expected to happen on a cold day in November - but it worked perfectly.

STYLE

We love wedding style coordination. So when we saw Jack's tie matching the sage green bridesmaid dresses, it gave us that satisfying feeling that accompanies all good style choices. And then we saw Evenny's absolutely beautiful lace gown that fit her like a glove, and we felt even better. Oh, and then we saw the groomsmen standing outside The Tythe Barn with their dried floral buttonholes to match Evenny's bouquet, and we felt like it had all come together perfectly.

THE TYTHE BARN

So let's talk about this venue. Evenny & Jack wanted a 'gloomy but twinkly vibe' and they pretty much hit the nail on the head with The Tythe Barn. The stone rustic interior is the perfect backdrop for a whole lot of fairy lights, whilst keeping a cosy feel for both the ceremony and reception. And we can safely say they both looked magical! The pumpkins, autumnal flowers and rustic decor were really the cherry on top of the cake. Speaking of cake... Doughnut. Cake. Decorations. That's all we'll say there, and their personalised wedding cake topper was the perfect unique touch!

Hot tip on how to nail your wedding style: Try matching your ties with your bridesmaids and your buttonholes with your bouquets.

Give yourself as much time as you can. There is no need to be stressed when planning (at least not until the week before the big day!) Jack organized our entire wedding from a very sophisticated spreadsheet. I much prefer an old-fashioned paper planner, so we had both. The table plans were definitely the most stressful part. So make sure to do this together and have cake or a strong drink to get through it!
