Inspiration

This couple decided that one day was not enough time to celebrate with their loved ones, so a week under the Tuscan sun at Villa di Ulignano with a wedding in the middle was a perfect idea! The ceremony was held early evening in the gardens of the Italian villa, perfect for a relaxed afternoon getting ready, and even a dip in the pool! This was followed by the stunning alfresco wedding breakfast that was served on a long banquet table littered in yellow and pink florals and all the peonies! The bride chose an off the shoulder Watters wedding dress that complemented the Italian vibes beautifully and added her own pop of colour with pink hair that perfectly matched the bouquet!

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"The thing I love about Mark & I is.. we've always found our own way of doing things. On our first date, what was meant to be a quick coffee turned into 13 hours in the corner of a small bar, laughing and talking for hours. We got engaged after 6 months of dating. I guess we were always going to have our wedding in our own special way. We bounced around quite a few ideas while planning this wedding. With guests coming from all over the world, a one-day wedding seemed like it wouldn’t be enough time to spend with everyone. And so, we concocted a hopeful idea which eventually bloomed into a week in Italy with all our favourite people, with a wedding in the middle. We were so honoured and blessed when all our guests were up for the idea, and it was honestly one of the best weeks of my life." - Michelle & Mark

Villa di Ulignano

Villa di Ulignano is a classic Italian villa with a rustic charm, the ceremony was held in the gardens overlooking the stunning Tuscan countryside, before the guests moved on to dine amongst fairy lights and dance under the stars! With a vision in mind, the couple put their trust in their wedding planner, Weddings in Tuscany, who bought their dreams to reality! The perfect place to celebrate their big day (or week in this case!) with close friends and loved ones!

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"Luckily for us, a week in Italy with your closest friends and family meant that the vibe was inevitably relaxed and happy – which was all we wanted from our wedding day. The Tuscan sun meant that the ceremony was at 5pm – the perfect recipe for a lie in, a lazy breakfast, and even a dip in the pool before getting ready. With the styling, we were fortunate to have a wedding planner with impeccable style. We discussed general ideas – a long table at the reception, a classic style with pops of bright colour, and all the peonies we could get our hands on. The rest of it is all to the credit of Chiara and her team. They have an incredible eye for styling and we were overwhelmed with how beautiful everything was on the day. " - Michelle & Mark
