Inspiration & Styling
"We wanted a relaxed vibe that was personalised to who we are, and simple but beautiful. The venue definitely helped to create this. Trinity Buoy Wharf was the first venue we saw, and the fact it's essentially an empty white rectangular building (albeit it a beautiful one) meant we had no choice but to put our stamp on it. The summer garden at the front of the venue with deckchairs and views of the Thames also meant that our family and friends could relax outside throughout the day. Our venue came with a list of recommended caterers, so after meeting with a couple of them, we went with Jimmy Garcia, who also helped to set up the decor/ furniture on the day from Rustic Hire. The Dominos had played at a wedding we attended and loved, so it was a no brainer to hire them. Finding our other suppliers involved a lot of googling(!) and getting ideas from what others had done before us. For evening food, we actually had a pizza van which we found through a website that allows suppliers to provide quotes to you. It was an easy process, and the woodfired pizza was a highlight of our wedding."
