Created for photographers to learn more about wedding industry and shoot and create inspiring content for couples. This shoot was inspired by both Rebecca and Nataly’s favourite colour- PINK! How to incorporate this colour across your wedding day in an elegant and fun way. Inspired by the colour palette and vibes of Palm Springs within an industrial setting at Sissinghurst Location House is sure to inspire couples that they can have the beautiful wedding of their dreams within an intimate setting. With an intimate wedding breakfast set for 6, adorned with various shades of pink and blush flowers created by Bud Flora.
Inspiration & Styling
When Rebecca and Nataly asked me to design & style a pink, Palm Springs inspired shoot I was so ready for it! I created a colour palette for the suppliers to work with, including patterns and textures full of mid-century modern shapes reflective of Palm Springs, to incorporate into the design. You'll see arch shapes feature in the cookies, display & stationery and a midcentury-style font. We used a few different shades of pink in the florals layered against each other, with a tiny feature of dark green. A neutral sand colour, reflective of the desert you'll see across the design too. It was really important to nail the bridesmaid's dresses: they had to be fun, so the girls would feel their best in them and a range of colours & styles (cos we're all individuals!) The bridal dress is relaxed and heavily detailed for the wow factor, something too formal & structured wouldn't have worked with the vibe so chosen matched the brief perfectly
