We were living abroad at the time of our wedding so had a big decision to make: hold the wedding in Asia with its guaranteed sun, or head back home to the more unpredictable Welsh weather. The influencing factor in the end was Seb’s family home,
Sychpwll, a venue that holds a limited number of weddings and events each year. It’s a big site, full of wildlife and fantastic views, and we were free to design everything exactly as we wanted and choose the suppliers that we liked the look of. We also wanted to have a BBQ and party the next day, so having the space for people to stay on site was ideal for us.
