When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?

Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day 2025 will run from Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th July, making it the first time the sale spans four full days. That’s four whole days to snap up wedding buys, honeymoon essentials and those last-minute bits you never realised you needed - until now.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest sales events of the year, exclusive to Prime members. It usually happens twice a year - once in the summer and again in autumn, just ahead of the Christmas rush. Expect discounts across everything from big-name brands like Dyson, ghd and Oral-B to Amazon’s own tech, including Kindles and Echo Dots (great for setting reminders like “order bridesmaid thank you cards”).

Do I Need to be a Prime Member?

Yes - Prime Day deals are for Prime members only. Membership costs £8.99/month or £95/year, but there’s a free 30-day trial available for new users (ideal if you just want to shop the deals and cancel after).
If you're aged 18–22, it's half-price, and you also get a 6-month trial - perfect if you're planning on a budget.

Alongside access to the sale, Prime also gives you:

Unlimited one-day delivery (handy for last-minute wedding bits)
Prime Video (because yes, you will need downtime)
Access to Prime-exclusive deals year-round

How to Get the Best Amazon Prime Day Wedding Deals

Whether you're deep into wedding planning or just looking to top up your honeymoon suitcase, here’s how to make the most of Prime Day:

Make a wishlist now of what you’re after: Think wedding decor, beauty prep, bridal accessories, or honeymoon must-haves like luggage, sandals or skincare.
Download the Amazon app: Great for “watching” deals in advance and getting notified the moment they go live.
Check lightning deals: They’re limited-time offers that often include some of the biggest savings.
Don’t forget the essentials: From teeth-whitening kits and shapewear to portable steamer irons and techy travel plugs, it’s a good time to grab things you’ll actually use.
