WHAT IS YOUR TRAINING/BACKGROUND?
I have a degree in fine art/photography from London. I hold a BA in Contemporary Media Practice from the University of Westminster and an MA in Fine Art, Photography from the University of the Arts, London. I also went to the New York Film Academy in NY to refine my technical skills and I achieved a distinction. I have spent over 10 years working as a freelance photographer, winning several prizes and accolades, including one from Dan Fern (Royal College of Art), another from Nikon and a third from Aesthetica magazine for “emerging artists who utilise photography as a medium’
DO YOU ONLY DO WEDDINGS?
I also cover events – from Christmas parties, christenings and family gatherings, to birthday celebrations and bat mitzvahs; from baby showers to biographical portraits; from golden wedding anniversaries to wedding proposals – and everything else in between….
WHAT STYLE OF PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE?
Traditional, natural, timeless, classic, documentary with a touch of editorial. I don’t follow trends, my style is classic and in 50 years will still be classic. Please see my love letter to wedding couples on my home page. Samples of my work can be seen there also and on the Gallery page.
DO YOU USE A SPECIFIC TECHNIQUE OR INNOVATIVE APPROACH?
I like to be as instructive as I can and capture real, natural and unposed moments at every stage of your celebration such as love, happiness and laughter. I use as much natural light as possible to achieve an organic and relaxed look in your pictures.
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I only use top-quality equipment. X2 R5 Mirrorless Canon cameras with RF lenses which are the latest ones. I only use Profoto Flash and if required Profoto portable lighting. I always carry an extra camera as a backup too.
