FAQS
What’s your style of photography?
I call it creative documentary: a mixture of reportage and portraits with an artistic edge.
What’s your favourite thing about being a wedding photographer?
Speaking of the genre, wedding photography feeds my soul because it’s varied and challenging while offering lots of opportunities to be creative. Every wedding is a new adventure. In terms of the job, the best thing is the joy of it all. Cheesy as it may sound, a wedding is a celebration of love and it’s wonderful (not to mention a stonking honour and privilege) to be part of that. And when my couples are moved and delighted by their photos because I’ve nailed the mood of their day, this also makes me uber happy :)
Do you do group portraits?
Yes I do (otherwise what will Nanna put on the mantelpiece??) I recommend keeping them to 5-10 combos to keep them quick and painless, and will send you a questionnaire before your wedding so you can tell me who you want in them.
Do you photograph details?
Yes. I prefer to capture details in their natural habitats (rather than artificially arranged as a flat-lay etc). But yes, part of my job is making a beautiful record of everything you’ve put thought, creativity and love into for this day.
Can I hire you for a shorter day?
Yes - small can defo be beautiful! I offer photography by the hour (minimum bookings apply).
