People always say when you know, you know with a wedding venue and with Lapstone Barn we both really did. After looking at 16 other venues before finding Lapstone, We weren’t hopeful of getting that “feeling” but as soon as we walked in through the front door and into the snug, we just knew! It was a cold, crisp February morning. The fire was roaring, the tree lights were twinkling and the candles flickering. It was instantly perfect. Knowing we’d be getting married around the same time of year, it was just what we’d been looking for. We didn’t even need to discuss anything with each other. We just shot each other a look and booked it there and then! We really couldn’t have picked a better venue with better staff. From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for more. Lapstone went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted and it really was! Our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and if it weren’t for the venue and the staff, it wouldn’t have been possible! We can’t thank you all enough.

I know Claudia is going to send you a huge thank you from us both and she is so bloody organised so I thought I should beat her to it and not tell her so keep this quiet!!! If you could pass this onto your team but thank you for the best day of our lives! I didn’t think winning a final in front of 30,000 people was beatable but what an idiot I am!!! Not even comparable! To you and your entire team as well as Claudia you made that the easiest day for me and how you were always there but somehow not was incredible and the waiting was sublime! I had one job to get the ring the right size and I almost got that wrong so no idea how you do it!! Sure you’re all shattered after yesterday as well so will leave you be but thank you and what a venue!!

Just a quick note to say a MASSIVE thank you for everything you guys and the team did for us on Friday! We had the most perfect day! Every element went so seamlessly and smoothly. We’ve had countless compliments on the venue, the food and all of the staff. It’s a massive credit to you both that we had nothing to worry about on the day, everything was on time and done to perfection.

Married life so far has been perfection... we’ve been on honeymoon! I’m sat in the airport waiting to come home as I email you though, which is ever so slightly sad! We cannot thank the team at Lapstone Barn enough for giving us the best day. Amber and Abi have been so very kind, enthusiastic and extremely patient though out. We are so grateful to them for sharing our excitement and tolerating my over zealous approach to over planning and organising each aspect of the day! The staff team on the day were just brilliant, they went above and beyond in every aspect of their care and attention to detail. We will be more than happy to leave a sparkling review and even then words won’t do the actual wedding experience with Lapstone justice!

I wanted to write to say THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for all of your help planning and then executing the best day of our lives. We honestly can't tell you how grateful we are, for not only all of your hard work, but also your amazingly calm nature that kept me so relaxed the whole way through. There was not one second when I was worried that something would not turn out perfectly, so thank you. I really can't believe looking back just how relaxed I was about the whole thing, but that is purely because I knew we were in such good hands. The day was better than we could have possibly dreamt of and I think the fixed smiles on our faces spoke for themselves! Thank you so much again. I really wish we could just do it all over again!
