Inspiration

Have you ever heard of a wedfest? If you haven't, where do we even begin? A true festival of a wedding, Deb & Warren had glitter galore, wristbands, programmes, tattooed wedding rings, a full stage with a fantastic lineup, and a late-night DJ! Guests slept in tipis, treetop tents and wooden houses. Incredible, right? And that's not even the half of it. Recommended supplier The Bearded Man Photography captured the fun, festive, glitter-fueled couple of days perfectly. This has to be one of the most fun-filled wedding parties ever, so put your rave hat on, and feast your eyes on this simply fantastic wedfest.

If you didn't know what a wedfest was before, we're sure you'll never forget after this!

We decided to strive from tradition and focus on celebrating OUR love, OUR way. But we couldn’t have done so anywhere other than Kudhva - the most magical place ever, where we took our first trip together.

Wedfest vibes

Music is a huge part of Deb & Warren's lives. In fact, it was music that brought the two together. That's why they decided on having a musical festival wedding - a.k.a, wedfest! The couple worked tirelessly to pull off this wedding, and it's safe to say they did an absolutely incredible job. The festival happened at Kudvha (which means 'hideout' in Cornish!) - a unique retreat near Tintagel, Cornwall. With tipis, treetop tents, wooden houses and more, it was the perfect backdrop for the perfect day. And that's not it - the site also allowed fresh-water swimming, hiking, paddle boarding, and a wood-fired tube... Invite us next time, please. The speeches were super emotional as well as funny, with true festival food to accompany them.

Styling, decor and fun

Although wedfest was fun in all ways possible, it was also very family-friendly, as the couple have two children themselves. There was fancy dress, a selfie station, handmade decor from the bride, gorgeous glitter balls, and much much more. Guests could also choose from a Wedfest-themed tattoo flash for a FREE tattoo - talk about a weekend they'll never forget. Deb wore a self-proclaimed "cheap and cheerful" dress, which she was delighted with. With the help of her bridal designer Jen, Deb's dress was transformed into the most unique, eye-catching, flattering and comfortable gown. Warren was rocking a cowboy hat, sunglasses and glitter trousers, and they looked beyond fabulous together.

Deb is giving us serious hair envy right now... And she looked like a star at her wedfest

The entire day was so special. But if we had to choose one favourite moment, it would be grabbing our grazing picnic box, laying a blanket under the willow trees, in front of the stage, listening to the first set of the day by Paul Tarry, catching each other's eyes and saying “f***ing hell, we actually pulled it off”.
