Sophie & Peter’s Devon wedding was full of relentless rain all day, but their shine couldn’t be dampened. Who needs a golden hour portrait when you could have these incredible coastal shots? This is, of course, all thanks to the amazing Recommended supplier, Grace Elizabeth. Sophie married Peter in an Anna Kara wedding dress in her childhood town at the local church. The couple spent their marquee reception at Sophie’s grandparent’s beautiful home by Recommended supplier, Hatch Marquee Hire.

There was no specific favourite part for either of us, we were over the moon with everything. But having our photos taken after the church ceremony on the hill overlooking the sea was so special.

Sophie looks like a complete goddess in her romantic Anna Kara wedding dress with her embroidered wedding trainers. For Sophie, being a bride caused her a lot of anxiety as she suffers from alopecia. Many brides know that you want to look back on your wedding day and remember how beautiful you looked and felt. As Sophie wears wigs, she was particularly nervous about how she would feel on the day. But thanks to the wonderful Grace Elizabeth, Sophie felt confident in herself! Grace gave her the support she needed. Sophie & Peter look so in love and radiate happiness in all their pictures.
Family Home Wedding
Sophie & Peter married in a church on a beach where Sophie spent many summers with her cousins and friends growing up. After the ceremony, the couple were lucky enough to celebrate at Sophie's grandparent's house and grounds with all their amazing friends and family. Even though it rained for most of the wedding day, the couple managed to have an incredible day and capture all those important moments. Sophie & Peter DIY'd their marquee decorations and Sophie collaborated with her cousin and aunt to create a flower wall backdrop for the photobooth.
