You'll be forgiven for thinking today's real wedding is a styled shoot it is so beautifully curated, but, in fact, it is the wonderful beach wedding of Alexandra and Raoul. Filled with tropical blooms, lanterns and pouffe's, plus an adorable sweetheart table decorated with palm leaves and botanical stationery. The whole wedding party complements the decor in coral and jade green dresses, and the bride and groom dazzle in a white wedding suit and floaty wedding dress.
Just one look at this enchanting beach near Barcelona and you can't help but realise the romance and intimacy of eloping - it's truly something so special!Alexandra & Raoul
I can't think of anything more special than marrying on the beach with the sand between your toes and the sun beating down on you. Especially a-la Alexandra and Raoul style, who did it in such a beautifully intimate setting.
There were tears, a hand fastening ritual and a Scottish Oating stone tradition which includes holding a stone in their hands whilst they say their vows. The stone is then preserved and placed in the foundations of their new home symbolising the promises they made to one another. Just. Adorable!
To me, there's nothing more meaningful than vowing to be together forever in an intimate setting... and, at the end of the day, we watched the sun dipping behind the horizon and saw the sky turn into a myriad of candy colours....Alexandra & Raoul
Even though Alexandra and Raoul had assisted friends to plan their weddings, and spent hours on Pinterest researching for their own, they knew they wanted to hire a professional to guide them through planning their own elopement wedding. They enlisted the help of the fabulous CheChic Weddings who did a truly wonderful job of visualising their tropical bohemian theme. In the words of Alexandra and Raoul " Seek out good-hearted, talented people to work with that share your vibes. These people will really be important throughout the process and support you during that day." You can find such people in our Recommended Suppliers.
