Michelle & Klaas’ wedding at Beldi Country Club in Marrakech looks like a literal movie. They had a romantic and personalised wedding ceremony in the glasshouse with speeches from the wedding party. The wedding breakfast was filled with magical lanterns. It is seriously stunning! Try and enjoy the planning part of the wedding. It can all seem so daunting and overwhelming, but remember you're in it together and having a 'wedding meeting' with your husband-to-be and a bottle of bubbly can be so nice and not stressful. Keep in mind that the most important thing is having the people you love there, everything else will work out.
The Vibe
Michelle & Klaas wanted a lot of greenery, colours and flowers. The couple wanted the vibe to be spontaneous and relaxed. They used the colour scheme that was already in the venue and just added some personal touches through flowers and photos. Michelle & Klaas wanted the venue and the day to represent what they're like as a couple - spontaneous. They didn't care much for a classic wedding and wanted a tropical garden party using local suppliers, especially for the food and drink!
Beldi Country Club
A destination wedding in Marrakech is one way to make your day special and unique. Having all the most important people in their lives together that made an effort to travel to celebrate their love in the most amazing location at Beldi Country Club was so incredible. Everyone had that electric buzz and holiday mood! The glass house venue really made all the difference and is completely transformed in the evening with glowing lanterns!
Speeches & Music
The couple incorporated speeches from the wedding party into their ceremony rather than waiting until the evening, which they highly recommend! Michelle & Klaas had all of their favourite songs and created a Spotify list for their DJ to use during the ceremony and reception. As part of the invites, Michelle & Klaas had given guests the chance to suggest a song that would get them on the dance floor. They used that list as inspiration for the playlist, which ensured everyone got to hear a song they loved!
Never underestimate the importance of the atmosphere! Lighting and music play such an important role!
Walking down the aisle and seeing the look on my husband's face was the most special moment of the day. Seeing the love and emotion in his eyes...it's hard to describe how beautiful that was.
