Planning

Calling all future brides, we’ve got a hot new trend for you! Bridal separates… that’s right, you heard it here first. Thankfully, our real brides are already serve-ING, so we’ve rounded up a few of our faves. If you’re looking for an excuse to move away from the traditional wedding dress, then we’re for sure the best friend who will hold your hand and tell you it’s all going to be ok. Because it is. We’re all for something a little different, and bridal separates have made their way slowly into our lives and we’re loving every second of it. So, sit back and find your inspiration. We got you.

Bridal separates inspiration

Statement Skirt

If you’re loving bridal separates but still want that Princess vibe, then a statement skirt may be for you. Whether you’re looking to incorporate a little colour, or just opting for some ruffled fabulousness, the choices will still ensure you get that bridal feel. This beautiful pink ruffled wedding skirt and simple top combination is perfect if you’re looking to showcase your carefree side. Or how about real bride Mel in her pastel perfect blue skirt? Paired alongside her short lace top, it still gives bridal vibes, but without going all out. And last but most certainly not least, Martina made her way down the aisle in a Halfpenny London swan tulle petal skirt, and it is serious VIBES - trust us, you do not want to miss it!

Boho Bridal Separates

We love a boho bride and a bridal separate really does give off those vibes. Louise looks perfect in her appliqué long-sleeved top paired with her chic floor-length skirt. Of course, those couple's portraits really do showcase how gorgeous her look is. Anna is also giving us beautiful lace vibes in her Rime Arodaky separates. The cap sleeve crop top and simple yet chic skirt work perfectly alongside one another. We can really see our real brides heading to their outdoor weddings in this little number! Now of course we can’t go without mentioning Beckie; her full skirt, scalloped edge crop top and floral crown are just the epitome of a festival bride - and we love it!

Lace Bridal Separates

If you’re still looking for that bridal look, then adding in a touch of lace is the way to go. We understand going all out in a wedding dress can conjure up images of Rachel from Friends, so this is the perfect way to ease yourself in. Real bride Lexi gives a little lace lovin’ in her crop top, which is perfectly finished off with the addition of her high-low skirt. We also adore Natashya in her full lace two-piece wedding dress, not to mention that incredible bridal crown - if anyone fancies sending one our way, we’d seriously appreciate it.

And Finally…

If we haven’t convinced you just yet, then we’re here for a final roundup. Sandy looks effortlessly beautiful in her tulle skirt complete with a simple yet chic blouse. We absolutely love how she’s giving effortless Princess vibes! And you know we can’t say no to Needle & Thread; Laura is killing it in her sparkling bridal separates, which also happens to be midi-length - just in case you’re not about a floor-length piece!

So, could bridal separates be for you? If you’re still looking for anything but a wedding dress, then don’t go anywhere. From our bridal suits roundup to coloured dresses, to our favourite short wedding dresses, we’ve got all the inspiration you need.
