Are you not entertained? Well, you're going to be because this wedding is not one to miss. The bride made her entrance in a simple yet classic bespoke Bon Bride wedding dress. Our Recommended supplier, Pura Vida Cornwall made sure to capture all the best parts of the wedding. Oh, who are we kidding? The best part is definitely that dress...or maybe those late-night focaccia pizzas? Lauren and Simon had a grazing station and a full Mexican feast complete with all the sauces and dips you could ever want for their Buffalo Tipi garden wedding. Their gift list was organised by our Recommended supplier, Prezola.
Relaxed, fun and chic Buffalo Tipi garden wedding in Bath
I didn't want a traditional wedding dress…I visited lots of boutiques and designers, but it wasn't until I found Pippa at Bon Bride that I knew this was the designer for me. The dress was very laid back and ended up being perfect for our garden wedding with some bespoke adjustments.
Buffalo Tipi Wedding
Having just done up their gorgeous home in Bath, Lauren and Simon decided to have their wedding in their very own back garden! Tipis are famous for being "rustic" festival-style structures, but they wanted to dress them down and celebrate their clean Nordic design. It was a simple, classic outdoor wedding vibe. Lauren spent months tending to the flower beds to create a colourful backdrop for the drinks reception on the terrace. The couple used dried flowers bouquets and displays so they could reuse them after the wedding. The bride and groom now have some hanging in their hallway!
Bon Bride Wedding Dress
Lauren's Bon Bride wedding dress, made with bespoke adjustments, matched the effortless and relaxed garden wedding vibes. The wedding was full of entertainment throughout the wedding to ensure maximum enjoyment. They had a close friend play the role of human jukebox as he sang to requests throughout the evening. They also had two close friends DJ’ing! Do you hear that? Our tummies have just started rumbling because of that delicious-looking Mexican cuisine. Lauren and Simon had a large grazing section for guests throughout the day followed by a Mexican feast with colourful toppings, sauces and dips. But we think those late-night focaccia pizzas sound absolutely divine!
We don't think it gets much better than a Bon Bride custom gown at a summer garden wedding!
Having it at home, using our beloved Buffalo Tipis, at the house and garden that we had spent 18 months renovating was so, so special. We married on the lawn that we both seeded and our first night in our new home was on our wedding night. It was so perfect!
