We’ll take one Botley Hill Barn black-tie wedding, please! Paul & Jane’s beautiful day was all about aesthetics and the guest experience. Recommended Suppliers, India Bel Ceremonies and Emma Reeve Weddings, were on hand to ensure the ceremony and day ran smoothly! Bold florals featured heavily throughout and created a colourful statement backdrop. Tablescapes were minimalistic, with gold tones to match the bridal wear and stationery. Jane and her florist, Mad Lilies, dubbed the floral scheme ‘Californian Sunset’, and we could not agree more! Not to mention Jane’s stunning wedding dress, those full sheer sleeves and Recommended Supplier veil from Britten Weddings are giving us serious romantic vibes! The styling evolved over time. Our wedding was pushed back from 2021 to 2022 due to COVID. Had we had our wedding in 2021, it may have looked very different. We wanted something that was timeless but not too plain. So adding in pops of colours with the flowers was perfect!

This beautiful venue provided the perfect blank canvas for this gorgeous couple's outdoor wedding. We are loving the bold florals, which are the perfect addition when filling up a space such as this. Your wedding flowers can truly elevate your day and venue, so working closely alongside your florist is very important if this is something you are looking for! Do not miss the incredible tablescapes featured within the reception - it’s truly a botanical dream!
CHOOSING SUPPLIERS
Paul & Jane found Rock My Wedding helpful when planning their wedding (we’re blushing), but they also utilised Instagram and a place you may not think to look… TikTok! Moving on from the days of being solely a dancing app, it happens to be a perfect place to search for wedding ideas. Jane happened to come across Sketched by Siena after one of their videos went viral. They provide beautiful live paintings of your guests - how cool!

Be realistic about what you can achieve with your budget. Do not get carried away with an idea quickly. Let it settle for a few weeks or months, see if you still would like to implement it and if you still do then go for it! We have no regrets about adopting this approach!
