Sam & Bertie married at Bertie’s family home with a church wedding and rustic marquee reception with plenty of greenery, tulips and colourful decor to match the spring season. The couple had Recommended Supplier, Carrie Lavers Photography, to capture their wedding day. Sam & Bertie also had Recommended Supplier, Prezola, for their wedding gift list.

Sam & Bertie's wedding took place at Bertie's parent's family home. The service was in the church two minutes down the road where Bertie's grandparents, and parents, both got married in the church, which made the ceremony feel so much more incredibly special. Sam's dad's best friend married the couple, which made their day feel like such a beautiful uniting of the two families. For one of their wedding readings, the couple chose Corinthians 1 13. For this wedding, Sam wore an Andrea Hawkes Milo wedding dress with Bertie in a classic morning suit that matched the groomsmen. The bridesmaids wore yellow, green, and blue mismatched bridesmaid dresses.
Personal Touches
Wild greenery and tulips were everywhere at this spring marquee wedding! The time of year was the main inspiration for Sam & Bertie. Bertie's mum and friends grew all the flowers for the wedding. Their friend, Auriol, made the cake, and another other friend, Issey, helped with the stationery. Everything felt like a huge pulling together of love and support from all of the couple's incredibly talented friends. The speeches were Sam & Bertie's fave part of their day! They were so full of love, energy, and every emotion under the sun. The air was palpable with love in every direction once they finished. So many tears were shed!
