Inspiration

With a vivid burnt orange wedding colour scheme, Terrazzo details and acrylic signs, Cecile and Julien said I do surrounded by family and friends and an abundance of inspiring decor. The bridesmaids wear orange skirts and white tops, the reception includes the most impressive hanging installation inscribed with 'love is in the air', and the table is littered with candles linens and tableware to complement the theme. Everywhere you turn there is something else to be amazed by. If you've been inspired by all the orange decor, you'll also love Rebecca and Tom's home wedding full of DIY decor. And oranges!

Burnt orange wedding decor and details for an outdoor destination wedding in France.

We dreamt of a modern and warm atmosphere that would blend with the countryside of the place. Feelicité chose the terrazzo and its graphic lines as a design guideline to bring personality to the decoration: we used it as a motif for the invitations and stationery and we recalled it in touches in the decorative elements: table numbers, vases and candleholders. The ochre and black shades of the terrazzo echoed warmer colours in a brick/terracotta camaieu.

We loved the whole wedding weekend. From the ceremony, all the little surprises from our relatives, and everything in between, we could not have dreamt of a better day. One of ours, (and our guests) favourite elements of the day is the cocktail!

As we all live at the 4 corners of France and the world, this weekend was also a wonderful opportunity for all of us to gather in addition to celebrating our wedding.

We had called upon a guitar and voice duo (Nadia and Eric) who exceed our expectations and went above and beyond. Everybody was so happy singing, dancing and having a good time. Our parents also surprised us by inviting a magician to mingle with the guests and perform little tricks.

Get your pinning fingers ready for all the Terrazzo decor and details. Plus, that flower installation!

For the flowers, we installed a hanging swing made of beards that gave the impression of small pinkish clouds above the table. For the centrepieces, we decided on a graphic composition reminiscent of Japanese ikebanas, mixing dried and fresh flowers. Both looked incredible.

Along with yellow, team Rock My Wedding is predicting orange is also making a come back this year because let's face it, we all need a little sunshine in our life. Be that a burnt orange wedding, or an ochre wedding, we're here for them all. And if you need a little more inspiration check out this Andalusia wedding featuring both vibrant hues.
