Inspiration

Becky and Ryan had the most beautiful and vibrant back garden wedding in Sidmouth with a clear marquee. It was a real vision of colour, with flowers, linens, candles and more littering the tables and decorating the open space. There was also a best in marrow competition and a surprise flash mob dance. Love! Every moment and delicious detail was captured beautifully by Recommended Photography Steph Newton Photography. So, excuse us whilst we spend a couple of hours creating a new Pinterest board!

Clear marquee back garden wedding with colourful decor.

It was so special to have our wedding reception in my parent's beautiful garden! Mum is an amazing gardener and it has always been my dream to get married in the garden that I grew up in. We wanted a very relaxed and colourful day which I think we managed to pull off pretty well. It was basically a garden party on steroids!

Clear Marquee

For the church, we had two readings, one which was chosen by my best friend Denise and the other was an extract from Guess How much I Love You read by Ryan’s Auntie. For our reception, we had the amazing Exe Valley String Quartettewho welcomed our guests into the garden and clear marquee.

Flash Mob

The whole day was just incredible from start to finish. But, one of our highlights was the surprise flash mob that my parents had organised with our friends and family. We had absolutely no idea!! It really got the party started in our brightly coloured clear marquee reception.

Becky and Ryan's back garden wedding was a real vision of colour without a neutral in sight!

My Mum did my hair following a tutorial on YouTube! Bill Ding was the most incredible band, we cannot recommend them highly enough. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Steph captured the day so beautifully!

Becky wore a draped back Charlie Brear dress with a dotted veil by Recommended supplier Rebecca Anne Designs for her church ceremony and clear marquee reception. She also added a Lulu Guinness shell clutch, Loeffler Randall plissé-organza sandals and pearl drop earrings bridal accessories to complete her bridal look. What a vibe! From capes to coverups we have roundups of lots more bridal accessories on our planning pages to inspire you.
