You know we love an Asylum wedding… but what do we love more? Hayley’s Eva Lendal wedding dress with a detachable skirt! This fabulous city wedding in London just exudes love and relaxed vibes. Originally wanting a wedding abroad, Hayley & Nick decided it just wasn’t possible, as some family members would not be able to make it. So, they opted for an untraditional London wedding. Complete with a steak dinner, pizza and doughnuts! We just love the super chic yet chilled-out look this entire day has. We wanted a real rustic untraditional approach. Saying our I-do's in the gothic-looking Asylum. Then a London champagne bus to Soho, where we had a steak dinner. It was then on to a speakeasy with pizza and doughnuts!
We originally wanted a wedding abroad, but with 3 elderly grandparents who wouldn't be able to make it, we decided to have it in London. We decided to make it the most London wedding we could with lots of traditional elements for a real untraditional wedding. Having our 3 elderly grandparents present made it all the more special. Our photographer convinced us to take photos in Piccadilly Circus and down Regents Street and everyone congratulated us along the way - it was super special.
Hayley’s detachable skirt meant she could party the night away in comfort!
Once at the destination, the couple and I snuck off for an epic champagne pop in front of the bus! We adventured around the city, tourists cheering as we went, especially whilst they were having their portraits taken in the world-famous Piccadilly Circus!
