Wedding Cape For Stylish City Celebration In Kentish Town

What Made Our Day Unique

We have been together nearly a decade and have a daughter so it didn’t feel right to have anything too formal, plus we wanted to do it local to where we live. We decided to get married in the church our daughter got baptised in and the reception just around the corner in a great pub. It used to be a gig venue that we went to back in the day so it had sentimental value, plus what better way to celebrate than in a pub with all of our friends and family. The day was exactly as we imagined, we had so much fun!

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted a laid-back vibe and decided to go with a colour palette that meant all groomsmen could wear their own suits and the bridesmaids could wear whatever style they felt good in. I loved that everything didn’t match but the colours toned perfectly. My priority was a wedding dress that I felt comfortable in all day and night and after trying on a ridiculous amount my friend suggested Heart Aflutter in Hackney. As soon as I walked in I knew I would find something - it was very relaxed but all of the dresses were so beautiful.
