Inspiration

After teasing you all on Tuesday with a capture of real bride Amber in a gold bridal crown on our Instagram, we are now delighted to be able to share with you the whole, incredibly stylish, industrial wedding of her and Sam. As well as the fabulous fashion, there are blooms by RMW recommended supplier, Leafy Couture. Plus, festoon lights, temporary tattoos, beer pong and so much happiness captured by the talented Emma at Epic Love Story.

What Made Your Day Unique

We didn't really follow the traditional rules. We had a late ceremony, fed our guests pizza, popcorn and poutine and held the entire thing in a converted warehouse in the city we'd lived in for over three years. We both wanted the day to be personal to us so we tried to include all the things we love (like lots of food, wine and tattoos!). Our favours were temporary versions of some of our own tattoos and it was amazing to see everyone covered in them by the end of the night!

Gold Bridal Crown

There's no denying Amber completely owns her gold bridal crown, and judging by all the Insta love you gave her on our grid post, you are rather partial to it too. (We've rounded up lots more fabulous real bride bridal crown inspiration for you to take a look.) I'm sure you'll also completely agree that her minimalist Charlie Brear wedding dress fits her like a glove, and couldn't be more perfect to show off her ink. Real groom Sam and his best man keep it smart but casual in checked waistcoats and matching trousers and collectively this wedding party are the epitome of style.

Inspiration & Styling

Because we wanted the day to be so personal to us, we wanted the styling to reflect who we were as a couple. We chose a converted warehouse with exposed brick walls because it reminded us so much of our first apartment together in Leeds and just added our own special touches. It was perfect and was also big enough to have all our friends and close family there with us.

Favourite Moment

It's so hard to pick just one favourite moment but I'd say the ceremony itself was one of the highlights for us. Everyone always says that's the boring part but it was such a special moment and we couldn't stop smiling! We also had two of our friends perform readings during the ceremony which meant so much to us. The whole thing just felt surreal (and it was the beginning of an epic day and night!). Emma captured it all perfectly! the BEST photographer we could’ve ever asked for.

To complete Amber's stylish bridal look she carries an epic bouquet designed by RMW recommended supplier, Leafy Couture. And if you need some advice about choosing blooms, listen to our wedding flowers podcast where Charlotte and Becky are joined by from Sarah so she can share her expert knowledge.
