Golden Wedding Theme With Column Flowers

This golden wedding inspiration is a unique love story filled with family feels and a summer palette. Not to mention a lion wedding cake, wooden escort card display and coloured veil. Beautifully planned, captured and styled by Recommended suppliers, Events With Akilah, Annie Poe Photography and Ave Creations. With rose satin bridesmaid dresses from Rewritten, props by The Prop Library and flowers by Raven & Ryegrass Floral Design who are also all Recommended suppliers. It's so fierce, vibrant and citrusy, and such a feast for the eyes!

Our inspiration derived from my love of The Lion King and the feeling of love throughout. It is easy to choose orange and make it bohemian. But, our vision was to inspire ideas for a bold colour palette and make it modern, loud and proud.

Minimalist Wedding Venue

A gorgeous blank canvas venue in East London. Core Clapton has the most incredible arched ceilings with a white spaced canvas, perfect for our vibrant colour palette for a themed wedding. Core Clapton is one of my most favoured venues in London as it offers such wonderful space for intimate yet 200+ sized weddings. For dry hire weddings in London Core Clapton plays the best backdrop to make any theme like the Lion King come alive.

Golden Wedding

The place settings included gold-rimmed cutlery and crockery with bold orange and lavender hinted stationery. The table plan was a break from tradition with an escort tag on a wooden frame. The table backdrop with hanging fabrics and our ceremony backdrop was an incredible feature. We wanted to create an elegant and modern inspiration to dream alive a nostalgic golden wedding theme into an elegant and modern-day.

"Can you feel the love tonight?" We're certainly feeling that lion wedding cake. WOW!

We included modern yet understated bridal gowns from Crazy in Love Bridal and Rewritten Bridesmaids with high slits and backless designs. As well as accessories to add texture and complete each bridal look. Celebrating natural beauty through makeup and hairstyle choices was important to us. We choose not to conform to the modern British look with free-flowing hair and winged eyeliner. The gorgeous groom wore a navy suit and the children in matching short suits. CUTE!

We love all the golden wedding decor and details at this Lion King-themed inspiration. In fact, we've been enjoying lots of citrusy yellow and orange tones all year. From orange bridesmaid dresses to honey-yellow flowers we've seen it, and we're here for it!
