Styling

Championing gorgeous trends for 2022 weddings we infused the shoot with pearls, hanging florals and a luxe colour palette with deep emerald undertones. Each wedding supplier allowed their incredible skills and passion to run wild as we celebrated the opportunity to work together on this meaningful shoot. From the golden winter light filtering through delicate floating drapes to the exquisite gowns. Plus the stationery suite of dreams and a cake so beautiful it could melt your heart. The styling was romance personified.

Hodsock Priory

Hodsock Priory is a stunning historic country house wedding venue set in 800 acres of countryside on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. It has incredible floor to ceiling windows in the Pavilion inviting golden light to consume the space and create theatrical contrasts of light and shadow. Hodsock is steeped in history and tradition, but, celebrates modern romance. They desire to create an inclusive and diverse environment welcoming all love stories.

Fashion

Our first look featured an Essense of Australia's gown. An exquisite satin dress with a tantalising thigh-high split. We paired it with a bespoke Rebecca Anne Designs veil, soft curls and dreamy makeup, dripping with pearls. This statement dress contrasted beautifully with the black tuxedo and softly textured accessories worn by Marley. The second look oozed romantic softness. The Pronovias design includes lots of lace and layers and floaty drama that Clara showed off as she danced with her love. A soft up-do and natural makeup completed her classic look.

Love is love.

We were honoured to work with Clara (she/her) and Marley (he/him). A beautiful couple so in love, with the most addictive energy and connection. I fell in love with their story, their adventures and their relationship journey. From meeting in Holland, partying hard and becoming best friends to first falling in love as a lesbian couple. Over time their relationship transitioned into a straight couple with Marley identifying as male. Their connection is fierce, authentic and electric, and they plan to marry in Bali next year.

We're also a little (ok, a lot!) obsessed with the confetti captures resembling snow. Simply magical. You'll find confetti shots, first kisses and many more must-have shots in our article.
