Inspiration

What made our day at Holmewood Hall unique was the intimacy of the event. We had the luxury of sharing our ceremony with our closest family and friends. Having opted to have the legal portion of the marriage completed prior to the ceremony, Kristian’s brother could officiate the wedding. This made for a very personal and tailor-made ceremony. Which in turn highlighted our love for each other even more, and allowed us to share this very important moment with those truly closest to us. This included readings from our guests, our own personalised vows, and the tailor-made service.

Regal Elegance at Holmewood Hall 

Holmewood Hall is an exquisite Tudor mansion wedding venue with Gothic-style architecture. Located in the serene countryside of Stilton, Cambridgeshire, the venue is set amidst 10 acres of meticulously landscaped grounds and parkland. This magnificent wedding venue carries a rich historical legacy spanning several centuries. With its graceful charm and refined ambiance, it provides the perfect setting for couples desiring a wedding celebration that emulates an air of timeless elegance tied with whimsical, fairytale-like beauty. So Kristian & Marielle really chose perfectly. Claiming that the venue already had a regal feel to it, the couple wanted to highlight its natural beauty by styling their big day royally. They did this in part with the bridal outfit - a Cinderella-esque, fairytale gown with a crown to match. 

We have always wanted a wedding with just our close friends and families. Growing up, a traditional Filipino wedding included every single person you knew, your parents knew, and everyone else you've met at least once. We just wanted one that felt personal. The venue we chose already had such a regal feel. Almost like a modern Bridgerton setting! And growing up, I've always dreamt of a wedding where I felt like Cinderella. And I got just that! It was a fairytale dream come true. So we wanted to keep the decor low-key and let the venue speak for itself!
